Whilst the standard Bowmore 15 has been finished in sherry casks, this new Sherry Oak release contains whisky that has fully matured in European Oak Oloroso Casks. This is married with spirit from bourbon casks and further finished in oloroso seasoned casks.

Official Tasting Notes

Colour – Subdued crimson. A deep, enigmatic hue that mirrors its complex flavour.

Nose – Cocoa beans. Moist Corinth raisins and sweet dates. Cinnamon, dark chocolate and enveloped in subtle smoke. Plate: Vibrant liquorice root. Cedarwood, treacle toffee, boiled sweet confectionary, clove spice and liquorice root.

Finish – Rich and wooded. Intriguingly rich and wooded revealing contented sweet spice.
