Description
Released as part of The 1931 Collection paying homage to the early history of the distillery, this special edition Balvenie 12 Year Old is a contemporary interpretation of their signature malt whisky, first crafted in 1931. Balvenie's traditional floor maltings only has capacity for a small percentage of the barley required by the Speyside distillery each year. However this bottling is entirely made from barley floor malted at the distillery, making it a rare spirit indeed. Matured in American oak casks and finished in European ex-sherry casks from Jerez.
