Description
An 11 year old cask strength Loch Lomond. One of 199 bottles, matured for 11 years in a first fill bourbon cask. This release was distilled in their straight neck still to a higher strength, which has brought out luscious tropical notes. It provides a nice contrast to our last Loch Lomond single cask, which was distilled in their more traditional swan necked still. Notes of marshmallows, pineapples, and salted pastry.

Official Tasting NotesNose – banana sweets, pineapple, pears, honey and a hint of blackcurrant.Palate – initially more of the tropical notes from the nose, followed by barley sugar, lemon, lime and orange zest.Finish – chewy, lightly toasted barley and toasted vanilla notes.
