CALLAWAY QUANTUM

The latest Quantum family from Callaway is built around speed, consistency and control off the tee, using Callaway’s new Tri-Force Face technology together with AI-optimised face mapping. It’s a modern, confidence-inspiring driver designed to help produce powerful, consistent tee shots. Callaway currently lists the Quantum Max at £599 in the UK.

Choose Regular if you have a smoother or more moderate swing and want the shaft to help with launch and feel.

Choose Stiff if you generate more clubhead speed and prefer a firmer, more controlled feel through impact.

TITLEIST GT4

The Titleist GT4 is the more compact, performance-focused option in this line-up. It’s particularly attractive to the golfer who wants a penetrating flight, lower spin and greater control from the tee. The GT4 is used by Titleist tour players and is a serious driver’s driver.

Again, the winner can select Regular or Stiff shaft, subject to available manufacturer specifications. The Regular option may suit a smoother swing, while Stiff is generally better suited to golfers producing higher swing speeds or wanting a firmer feel.

PING G440 SFT

If keeping the ball straighter is your priority, this could be your choice.

The PING G440 SFT — Straight Flight Technology — is specifically engineered to provide slice correction. Its adjustable back weight promotes a draw bias, while PING combines a hotter face, lighter construction and low centre of gravity to increase ball speed and forgiveness. The head is 460cc with adjustable loft, and PING offers both Regular and Stiff shaft options in several shaft families.
