🌍 How The Finals Weekend Works

After six rounds of competition across July and November, the six teams in each hemisphere are ranked 1–6.

Finals Weekend then pairs teams head-to-head:

🏉 6th vs 6th
🏉 5th vs 5th
🏉 4th vs 4th
🏉 3rd vs 3rd
🏉 2nd vs 2nd
🏉 1st vs 1st – The Grand Final

The 1st vs 1st match decides the Nations Championship winner and crowns the best international rugby team in the world.

Across the six fixtures, points also contribute to the Hemisphere Challenge, where the Northern and Southern hemispheres compete for overall bragging rights.
