Specially bottled and released to celebrate the 55th anniversary of James Bond film 'Diamonds are Forever', this unique Macallan was distilled in 2007 and aged for 18 years. The whisky was primarily matured in sherry seasoned and red wine seasoned European and American oak casks, as well as a small number of bespoke sherry seasoned hybrid casks, made up of both European and American oak staves. The packaging brings to life the creative development process of the film, in a behind the scenes exploration of the Bond archive.

Official Tasting Notes

On the palate, expectations are exceeded with a surprisingly light sweetness; an unexpected twist if admiring the whisky's dark natural colour inspired by Nevada rock. Smooth as the spy himself, initial vanilla and caramel hints are followed by fruit-driven, darker complexity.
