IMPORTANT PRIZE SELECTION INFORMATION
1. Prize Value & Market Value

The winner may choose any LEGO set, or combination of LEGO sets, up to the stated £300 prize value.

The value of any chosen set will be determined by its current market value at the time the winner makes their selection, not its original retail price, recommended retail price or previous selling price.

Market value will be based on the actual price at which the chosen LEGO set can reasonably be purchased from a reputable UK-based retailer, marketplace seller or other UK-based source.

Historical prices, speculative valuations and listings for items that are no longer available to purchase will not be considered when determining market value.

2. UK-Based Sources Only

All LEGO sets must be purchased from UK-based sources only.

This includes LEGO UK, UK retailers, independent LEGO sellers, UK-based collectors and UK-based sellers on marketplaces such as eBay.

Sets listed by overseas sellers or requiring international purchasing or shipping will not qualify, regardless of whether the total price falls within the stated prize value.

3. Availability & Alternative Choices

Although we will make every reasonable effort to source the winner’s preferred LEGO set, availability cannot be guaranteed.

If we are unable to source the winner’s first choice, they may be asked to select a second or even third choice.

All selections are subject to availability, current market value and the ability to purchase the chosen set from a suitable UK-based source.

4. Retired, Current & Future LEGO Sets

The winner may select current, retired or upcoming LEGO sets, provided they can be sourced within the stated prize value, or the winner agrees to pay any additional amount.

Future LEGO sets must have been officially announced and be available to pre-order or reasonably obtainable upon release.

If a future set is selected, the winner accepts that delivery may be delayed until the set becomes available.

If a future set is cancelled, becomes unavailable or increases in price beyond the prize value, the winner may select an alternative or pay the difference where applicable.

5. Multiple LEGO Sets & Unused Prize Value

The winner is not restricted to choosing just one LEGO set.

They may choose multiple LEGO sets, provided their combined total cost does not exceed the stated £300 prize value, unless they choose to contribute additional funds themselves.

If the winner’s chosen LEGO set or combination of sets costs less than the stated prize value, any remaining balance will be awarded to the winner as Fun and Games site credit.

For example, if the winner selects LEGO sets totalling £275, the remaining £25 will be added to their Fun and Games account as site credit.

6. Upgrading Your Prize

If the winner wishes to select a LEGO set, or combination of sets, that exceeds the stated £100 prize value, we are more than happy to accommodate this.

The winner may pay the difference themselves, allowing them to choose something of a higher value while Fun and Games contributes the full £100 prize amount.

Any additional payment must be agreed and received before the chosen LEGO sets are purchased.

7. New, Retired & Pre-Owned LEGO Sets

LEGO sets will normally be supplied brand new, complete and unopened.

However, we understand that some retired or rare LEGO sets may only be available in pre-owned condition.

Where this is the case, the winner may choose a pre-owned LEGO set, provided they are happy with its advertised condition, completeness and any other relevant details.

Any pre-owned purchase must be agreed with the winner before the order is placed.

Box Condition: We will always make every reasonable effort to source LEGO sets with boxes in the best possible condition. However, due to the age, rarity and availability of certain sets, particularly retired or collectible LEGO sets, we cannot guarantee that boxes will be in perfect or pristine condition.

Some boxes may show signs of age, storage, shelf wear, minor creasing, scuffs or other cosmetic imperfections.

Whilst we will endeavour to obtain the best condition available within the stated prize value, box condition cannot be guaranteed, particularly when sourcing older or retired sets from third-party sellers.

Where significant box damage is known before purchase, we will discuss this with the winner before proceeding.

8. Delivery Charges & Additional Costs

Any delivery charges, taxes or additional purchasing costs must be included within the total prize value.

If these costs cause the total to exceed the stated £300 prize value, the winner may either pay the difference or select an alternative set.

All purchases must be made from UK-based sources. International sellers and imports are not permitted.

9. Seller Reliability & Purchase Restrictions

Fun and Games reserves the right to decline purchases from sellers, retailers or marketplaces where there are reasonable concerns regarding legitimacy, reliability, item condition, authenticity or the security of the transaction.

If a particular seller is considered unsuitable, we will work with the winner to find an alternative UK-based seller or allow them to choose a different LEGO set.

10. Prize Selection Timeframe

The winner will be asked to make their prize selection within 14 days of being contacted.

If additional time is required, this can be discussed and agreed with Fun and Games.

As LEGO prices and availability can change, any previously quoted prices or availability cannot be guaranteed indefinitely.

The applicable market value will be the price at which the selected LEGO set is available to purchase when the prize selection is confirmed.

11. Final Prize Selection & Confirmation

All prize selections are subject to availability, current market value and the conditions outlined above.

Once the winner has confirmed their selection and Fun and Games has purchased the chosen LEGO set or sets, the prize selection will be considered final, subject to the winner’s statutory rights.

If a chosen set becomes unavailable or increases in price before purchase, the winner will be offered the opportunity to select an alternative or pay any difference themselves.

Our aim is simple: give the winner as much freedom and choice as possible while ensuring their prize can be sourced fairly, safely and within the stated prize value.
