At the heart of the Ape is a Malossi 135 MHR engine setup, complemented by a 30mm Dell’Orto carburettor, VMC exhaust, Malossi full-circle crank and uprated clutch. With the engine supported by new bearings, seals and cables, plenty of attention has gone into making this far more exciting than your average Ape 50.
