The Philips Ambilight PQS8601 55" QLED 4K HDR Smart TV is best for anyone who likes their entertainment connected to the rest of their smart home. It combines Ambilight lighting, 4K QLED picture quality and smart home integration.
A picture packed with detail. The 4K QLED display and P5 Picture Perfect Engine bring out rich colours, sharper contrast and smoother motion. Whether you're watching sport, films or box sets, every scene looks clearer and more detailed.
Colour beyond the screen. Ambilight uses LEDs behind the TV that react to what's happening on screen, extending colours beyond the edges of the picture. With AmbiScape, compatible smart bulbs can sync with the action too, so films, games and live sport feel more immersive.
Sound with extra depth. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X create multidimensional sound that adds a greater sense of space and direction. Explosions carry more impact, while quieter scenes feel more atmospheric.
Fits into your smart home. Matter compatibility makes it easy to connect the TV to compatible smart home devices and services. Control multiple devices together from your smart home app or voice assistant.
More detail where it matters. HDR10+ fine-tunes picture settings scene by scene for a more balanced image. Bright highlights and darker moments stay clear, so you don't miss what's happening on screen.
Sound tuned to what you're watching. The IntelliSound engine uses AI to automatically adjust audio settings based on what you're watching. Dialogue is clearer, music sounds more balanced and action scenes gain extra impact, without needing to change settings yourself.
Every word comes through clearly. Vocal Boost lets you adjust dialogue volume without affecting background sound. It's handy when voices get lost in busy scenes or dramatic soundtracks.
Streaming without the searching. Titan OS keeps your streaming apps and recommendations within easy reach. Spend less time scrolling through menus and more time getting straight into what you want to watch.
Watch live TV without an aerial. Freely streams live TV and catch-up content over WiFi, so there's no need for an aerial. Browse channels, restart programmes and jump into on-demand shows from the same place.
