⚔️ NEW YEAR, NEW CAREER 🇬🇧

Sometimes the hardest part of starting something new is simply knowing where to begin.

Training, qualifications, tools and getting started can all cost money, and sometimes one opportunity is all somebody needs to take that first step.

That’s why we created Saxon New Year, New Career.

We’ve put together 9 major career-training prizes covering a range of trades and industries. If you land on one of the major winning numbers, Saxon Competitions will help arrange your place with the advertised training provider and help get your training journey started.

Hopefully that opportunity could become the beginning of a new skill, a new career or even your own business. 🇬🇧

⚔️ COURSE OR CASH — YOU CHOOSE

If you win a particular training course but decide that career isn’t right for you, you are not tied to it.

You can instead choose the advertised cash alternative and put that towards the training, equipment or next step that’s right for you.

WHY WE CREATED IT

This one is personal to us.

When I started CJH Groundforce at 17, I didn’t really know where to begin. Training, tools and getting started all cost money, and it’s taken around 15 years of hard work to build the business into what it is today.

If Saxon can help give somebody that first opportunity a little earlier — whether that’s learning a trade, gaining professional training or finally taking a chance on something they’ve wanted to do — then this competition has achieved what we wanted it to.

Real People. Real Opportunities. A Brighter Tomorrow. 🇬🇧

⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Major prizes: There are 9 advertised major career-training instant-win prizes. Each major prize has its own advertised cash alternative.

Instant wins: Winning numbers are allocated within the competition ticket range. A prize is awarded when its corresponding winning number is allocated to a valid entrant. It is therefore possible that some instant-win numbers may not be entered/allocated before the competition closes, meaning not every advertised instant-win prize is guaranteed to be claimed.

Training prizes: Where a winner chooses the training option, Saxon Competitions will arrange/payment-fund the advertised course with the relevant training provider, subject to the provider’s availability, eligibility requirements and course terms.

Independent providers: Training providers featured are independent third-party businesses. Unless expressly stated otherwise, inclusion of a provider or course does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or partnership with Saxon Competitions.

Cash alternatives: A winner of a major career prize may choose either the advertised course or its stated cash alternative, not both.

Additional costs: Travel, accommodation, meals, loss of earnings and other expenses associated with attending training are not included unless specifically stated within that prize description.

Eligibility: Entrants must meet Saxon Competitions’ eligibility requirements and the requirements within our full Terms & Conditions. Any course-specific age, health, identification or other entry requirements imposed by the training provider will also apply.
