The JMH Studio Half Stack is essentially a special Hendrix-themed interpretation of Marshall’s Studio Vintage SV20, itself designed to capture the character of the 100-watt 1959 Super Lead in a much more manageable 20-watt format. The two bridgeable channels allow the bright High Treble and warmer Normal channels to be blended in classic Plexi fashion, while the 5-watt setting makes power-valve overdrive considerably easier to achieve at sensible volumes.
