Incredible odds to pick up a fantastic Loch Lomond dram!
Including the brand new Loch Lomond Way Point 31 Year Old!
The third installment of Loch Lomond’s Waypoint series is an impressive 31-year-old single malt – the oldest peated release Loch Lomond have ever released. This highly limited run celebrates the rugged and challenging trail between Inversnaid and Inverarnan on Loch Lomond’s north-eastern shore and is presented in a handcrafted, etched wooden case.
The whisky was matured in three different types of ex-bourbon American oak casks before finishing for 12 months in tawny port pipes. Dark fruit and honey on the nose leads into a palate with dark chocolate, raspberry and cedar wood before a long, complex finish wrapped in woodsmoke.
