The HPI Stage-D10 is a purpose-built 1/10 RWD drift car combining a proven factory setup with an impressive range of chassis adjustment and tuning potential.

Ready to drift straight from the box, the Stage-D10 comes equipped with a 20T brushed 540 motor, 60A ESC, D-Box3 Lite drift gyro and 4-channel radio system, topped with an officially licensed Ford Mustang GT RTR S650 James Deane bodyshell.

Developed over three years and tested by drivers ranging from RWD newcomers to experienced drifters, the Stage-D10 provides an accessible starting point with plenty of scope to develop the setup as your driving progresses.

James Deane Ford Mustang GT RTR S650

This version of the Stage-D10 features a fully finished and assembled Ford Mustang GT RTR S650 bodyshell with James Deane’s Formula Drift livery, complete with moulded scale details including mirrors, vents, grilles and light buckets.

HPI Aero-5 replica wheels and HDPE T-Drift tyres complete the scale drift look, with 3mm offset front and 6mm offset rear wheels.

A full LED light system includes headlights, grille lights, tail lights and brake lights, with lighting modes controlled directly from the TF-51 transmitter.

The Stage-D10 comes factory equipped with everything needed to get sideways, with only a battery, charger and transmitter batteries required.

Extensive Chassis Adjustment

The Stage-D10 features adjustable front and rear camber, toe, roll centre and camber gain, along with a 246–264mm adjustable wheelbase. Threaded oil-filled coilover shocks provide easy ride height and preload adjustment, with alternative shock pistons also included.

The steering system features fully adjustable Ackermann geometry with forward, backward, up and down adjustment, plus four servo mounting positions.

Battery placement can be switched between mid and rear positions, allowing you to fine-tune weight distribution to suit your driving style.

Over 100 Motor Positions

One of the Stage-D10’s standout features is its highly adjustable rear gearbox, offering over 100 possible motor positions.

The transmission can be configured with either three or four gears, with reversible motor direction. Combined with the adjustable motor positions, this provides over 200 possible drivetrain configurations.

A sealed composite geared rear differential and 2.6 internal FDR complete the drivetrain.

Magnetic Body Mounting

HPI’s magnetic body mounting system uses powerful N52 magnets and 10mm steel ball mounts, keeping the James Deane Mustang body securely in place without visible body posts protruding through the shell.

Aerocatch-style screw-lock mounts and conventional body mounting options are also included for fitting alternative bodyshells.
