GIBSON FIREBIRD PLATYPUS IN TOBACCO BURST

GIBSUNDAY WINNER

The Gibson Firebird Platypus is a fascinating nod to one of the rarest transitional chapters in Firebird history, recreating the unusual combination of the classic Reverse Firebird body and the later flat, six-in-line “Platypus” headstock seen on a small number of 1965 originals. Finished in Tobacco Burst, this USA-built model has plenty of vintage character, while its pair of Firebird Mini Humbuckers deliver the distinctive combination of punch, clarity and bite that makes a Firebird so recognisable and addictive to play . With its unusual specification and relatively uncommon design, this is a particularly interesting Gibson for anyone who appreciates guitars with huge history, individuality and tone!
