Description
Wow, if you’re looking for character then look no further!
Introducing our super cool 1981 Mk1 Golf.
This car is a proper survivor, finding an unrestored UK Mk1 Golf now is hard, and this one is a brilliant example. It retains so much of its originality!
The original Mexico Beige paint has patina’d fantastic due to a long sleep in a leaky UK garage. Mother Nature has helped form a perfect spotted patina that’s consistent throughout. Structurally this car is solid as a rock!!
The interior is a real beauty, completely factory and in lovely condition. It’s certainly a nice place to be!
Mechanically the car has had some serious love in recent years, a replacement engine being a tidy 1.3 Mk2 Polo hydraulic lifter engine with a fast road cam, stainless four brach header, Webber carb, manual choke… the list goes on. It runs and pulls perfectly, definitely quicker than new!
It’s been lowered all round on AP coilovers and what better wheel for a Mk1 Golf than a set of ATS Classics with stretched Yoko tyres.
This little car has SO much character, it has the perfect look, it drives amazing, and it’s ready for you to own it for £4.99…
Only 2500 tickets are available making this our best odds yet! This is a Live draw ending on the 25th October at 7pm, join us on Facebook! See you there… Good Luck!
